2008 Chardonnay, El Dorado $18/bottle
New Release
We thought the last vintage was our best…hmm, you be the judge. This Chardonnay’s aroma is enough for the discussion to stop right there! But, wait, taste that beautiful balance and rich texture. Made in Frank's classic, signature style: whole berry pressed, barrel fermented, non-malolactic style, aged sur lie. Aromas of apricots, peaches, mangos and a velvet touch of French Oak precede the vanilla spice mid-palate and focused, lemon cream, bright, lengthy finish. A stunning, full bodied, richly textured vintage! Pair with roasted lamb, lemon orzo, smoked salmon, herb marinated goat cheese salad. Drink now - 2012.

2008 Melange de Sol Blanc, El Dorado - $20/bottle
Limited
(35% Chardonnay, 46% Estate Viognier, 19% Roussanne) Barrel fermented, 100% aged sur lie, partial ML. Frank’s remade a miracle…this wine shows aromas of lemon grass & Brule. The mid palate is full bodied with papaya, honeydew & fig with an overlay of hazelnut, vanilla. The complexity of three varietals make this a versatile food wine. Pair it with “full flavored” foods: rich soups, salty charcuterie & cheese plates, fresh shellfish, grilled salmon, & salads.
Drinking now – 2012.
2008 DUNAMIS Blanc, Estate - $22/bottle 100% Estate Roussanne, Barrel Fermented, aged sur lie , no ML
Crystal clear with a deep golden hue lets you know this is something different than what you might be used to. Aromas of honeyed figs and hazelnut, Wow! On the palate you notice this is a very full bodied wine with nicely integrated tropical fruit and an overlay of toasty French oak, and there is that hazelnut again. Very exotic. A tremendous wine for a meal. Pair with grilled pancetta wrapped figs, fresh grilled fish, herb marinated goat cheese salad, grilled pork tenderloin with spiced chutney, and fantastic with roasted turkey with all the trimmings! Drinking now - 2014.
2007 Mourvèdre - $17/bottle
Can you say, “more-ved-ruh”? Perfumed aromas of crushed blackberries with a hint of toasty oak and clove. In the mouth the wine shows off full, round flavors of deep, black cherry & pomegranate, spice and a hint of mocha. It finishes bright & lush with a touch of minerality. Drink now through 2013.
2007 Petite Cuvee, El Dorado - $18/bottle
This is our proprietary red blend of 40% Petite Sirah, 30% Mourvedre,
20% Zinfandel and 10% Syrah. Spicy cinnamon and a flash of toasty French
oak draws you in for a second, deeper whiff. The spiciness continues on
the palate with layers of red cherry, pomegranate, and white pepper. The
finish is long and bright. Great with....everything! Drink now or wait
for deeper complexity to 2012.
2007 Melange de Sol, Rouge, El Dorado - $22/bottle
50% Mourvedre, 38% Syrah & 12% Grenache Estate Aged 12 months in 100%
French Oak Ruby red color & full bodied wafts of fresh, ripe blueberries.
This wine has “texture” & steady structure. The beginning, middle & end
flavors all give you the “wow” factor: beautiful aromas of blueberry &
spice, mocha & dark chocolate hints on the mid palate with a long berry
finish. Pairs well with wild mushroom risotto, glazed pork loin, grilled
steak, roasted fowl & game. Drink now to 2012.
2007 El Dorado Syrah - $20 Bottle New
Release! February '10
Alluring deep hues of dark burgundy invite you to tilt your glass for
a better
look. Aromas of black licorice, a bit of black pepper and a splash of
toasty,
new French oak. Enjoy the smooth, luscious flavors of blueberries, dried
cherries, mocha and a drop of espresso. The finish ends up in the middle
of
your tongue and doesn't end until the bottle's gone! This wine traditionally
gains a noticeable, deeper complexity as it ages. Pairs with roasted duck,
venison, lamb, spicy rigatoni puttanesca and red wine braised stews. Drink
now to 2015.
2006 Estate Grenache- $24/bottle
Only our second Estate grown & produced varietal Grenache. 85% Estate Grown Grenache & 15% Estate grown Syrah.
Black cherry aromas lure you in long enough to recognize the flashy mature rose petal lingering in the background and a touch of toasty oak. On the palate there is a solid core of medium-bodied spicy, black cherry fruit with a wave of ripe raspberries on the lingering long finish. 100% French oak, 20% new. Pair with duck confit, grilled sausages and spicy ragu. Drink now to 2015.
2007 Petite Sirah, El Dorado $20
Dark, opaque purple color with aromas of spice, black pepper,
tobacco with a touch of vanilla. When this wine hits your palate there is an explosion
of flavor
what is it?? Lush, rich, black fruit including blackberries, blueberries
with smooth tannins and juicy ripe plums. This wine ROCKS!! Get a hold of this one
while you can, itll go very fast. Very limited and a great value only 140 cases made. Drink now through
2015.
2006 Cab Franc, Estate - $24/bottle Sold Out
Perfumed aromas of blackberry, coriander
and cedar. Layers of cassis, violets and anise fill the mid-palate with a wave of soft tannins that close with
a bright cherry finish. BRAVO! This wine will age very nicely -- too bad we only made
91 cases. This is a wine club wine so its only going to be on the bar for
a very short time. Perfect with warm toasted walnuts, Anjou pears, blue cheese, pork veal
and wild game. Drink now to 2016.
2006 Cab Syrah, Estate - $28/bottle
Seriously dark garnet in color with opulent
aromas of dark cherries and a well integrated overlay of French oak. Black cherry and ripe raspberry flavors
explode into a deep, rich concentrated lingering finish. Made from 100% Narrow
Gate Vineyards Estate Grown fruit in a very opulent year: 60% Cabernet
Sauvignon, 40% Syrah. This wine traditionally ages beautifully like liquid velvet
as it matures, and will reward those who age it at least 3 years or more. Drink now to 2016.
2006 Estate Zinfandel El Dorado - $20/bottle Sold Out
Ruby red in color, this 100% Estate grown Zinfandel draws you in with
aromas of spice, smoke & vanilla. It has a deep concentrated core of ripe
raspberry and cocoa on the mid-palate ending with a ripe black-cherry finish that
is texurous andlong, with bright, smooth tannins. Serve with rack of lamb, spicy vegetarian dishes, red sauces, hearty stews and barbeque. Aged in 100% American oak
for 12 months, 30% new. Drinking now through 2014.
2008 Zinfandel, El Dorado, $20 bottle New Release
Wow, what an aroma! Extracted and perfumed aromas of violets and black cherries. Nice overtones of vanilla from 12 months of new good ‘ol USA American Oak aging. The flavor explodes on the palate with ultra ripe raspberries and fresh, black cherries. Nice balance, good acidity and a luscious, rich finish! This is a wine that will drink well in its youth and give more rewards with 1-4 years of additional aging. Drink now to 2014.
2006 DUNAMIS Estate - $32/bottle
Elegant and refined aromas of clove, smoke, toasty oak & leather that
carry over to the palate with an overlay of raspberries and plum fruit. Big structure
front to back with firm tannins and good length. It finishes with a dollop of strawberry
and licorice. This is our flagship wine made from 100% Estate grown grapes
in a classic Chateauneuf du Pape style blend - 58% Grenache, 33% Syrah & 9% mourvedre. Drink now to 2016.

This is Frank's "special blend" of Port (made from six
classic port varietals) infused with 60% dark, bittersweet chocolate and 40% milk chocolate natural essence - what a combination! Yum! Ooh la la!
