2010 Chardonnay, El Dorado $20/bottle
This 100% locally grown Chardonnay is a vibrant palate refresher made in our signature style: whole berry pressed, non-malolactic, barrel fermented, aged sur lie. It exhibits a fresh citrus and pear nose with lemon sorbet, orange zest and apricot on the palate. Pair with shrimp cakes and lemon grass aioli, grilled salmon, Dijon and herbs de Provence roast chicken, butternut squash ravioli with brown butter & sage, salads, curries, and sushi.

2010 Viognier Roussanne, Estate - $22/bottle New release 2/1/12
This extremely small production of Estate grown 90% Viognier and 10% Roussanne has aromas of key lime, tangerine and lemon peel. The wine is smooth on the palate with flavors of apricot, jasmine and a touch of citrus....ending with a long, vibrant finish with a touch of "minerality". Only 2 barrels made in this vintage. An elegant yet versatile wine on it's own or pairs well with coconut shrimp, chinese five spice roasted duck, ginger salmon in parchment, seasonal salads, and whole roasted, brined and herbed game hens. Aged sur lie for 6 months on 100% French oak. Drink now to 2015.

2009 Melange de Sol Blanc, El Dorado - $20/bottle coming soon
(50% Estate Viognier, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Estate Roussanne) Bright, clean aromas of citrus, orange blossom, white floral, and sandalwood.  Rich mid-palate layers and subtle hints of honey, mango, pineapple, and mineral notes with a crisp, lingering finish.  Pairs especially well with Asian dishes, Middle Eastern curry, spicy foods, cheese courses, and salads.  Partial ML, aged sur lie in 100% French oak.  Drink now - 2015.

2010 DUNAMIS Blanc, Estate - $24/bottle new!
100% Estate Roussanne, Barrel Fermented, aged sur lie , no ML
Aromas of honeyed figs and hazelnut & citrus. On the palate you notice this is a very full bodied wine with nicely integrated tropical fruit and an overlay of toasty French oak & soft minerality.  Very exotic with a clean, crisp finish.  Pair with  Coquille St. Jacque, Shrimp & garlic pasta, grilled pancetta wrapped figs, fresh grilled fish, herb marinated goat cheese salad, grilled pork tenderloin with spiced chutney, and fantastic with roasted turkey with all the trimmings! Drinking now - 2015.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon- $20/bottle
Deep purple color with aromas of black currant, cassis and spice. In the mouth you can sense the beautiful, smooth, flavors of cabernet with the full body of rich, ripe, dark fruit. The tannins are smooth and silky with a lovely, spice box finish. A crowd pleaser that pairs with roasted or grilled poultry or meat, braised dishes, bbq & pasta with red sauce.  Drink now through 2014.

2009 Zinfandel, El Dorado - $20 bottle  
Wow, what an aroma! Extracted and perfumed aromas of violets and black cherries. Nice overtones of vanilla from 12 months of new good 'ol USA American Oak aging. The flavor explodes on the palate with ultra ripe raspberries and fresh, black cherries. Nice balance, good acidity and a luscious, rich finish! This is a wine that will drink well in its youth and give more rewards with 1-4 years of additional aging. Drink now to 2014.

2008 Petite Cuvee, El Dorado - $20/bottle sold out!
This is our proprietary red blend of 40% Petite Sirah, 45% Estate Primitivo, & 9% Mourvedre. Dark purple with accents of dried cherries, vanilla & cardamom.  On the palate there's smooth flavors of plum, cherries, and a touch of cinnamon spice on the finish.  Nicely balanced and ready to enjoy now or cellar 1 to 2 more years for deeper complexity.  Only 126 cases made.  Come and get it while it lasts!  Aged in American, French, & Hungarian oak for 12 months.  Drink now to 2013.

2008 Melange de Sol, Rouge, El Dorado - $22/bottle sold out! 
50% Mourvedre, 38% Syrah & 12% Grenache Estate Aged 12 months in 100% French Oak Ruby red color & full bodied wafts of fresh, ripe blueberries. This wine has "texture" & steady structure. The beginning, middle & end flavors all give you the "wow" factor: beautiful aromas of blueberry & spice, mocha & dark chocolate hints on the mid palate with a long berry finish. Pairs well with wild mushroom risotto, glazed pork loin, grilled steak, roasted fowl & game. Drink now to 2012.

2008 Syrah, El Dorado - $20 Bottle
Aromas of fresh, ripe blueberries roll over the palate with a big, thick, round mouth feel of pronounced blackberry in the middle.  The flavors are heightened with bright violet and subtle licorice notes and a smooth, long, mocha finish.  Pairs with Caribbean jerk chicken, barbeque baby back ribs, wild mushroom risotto, grilled lamb chope and olive, rosemary and sausage pasta.  Aged 12 months in both French and Hungarian oak, 20% new.  Drink now - 2016.

2008 Grenache, Estate - $24/bottle 
Unveiling yet another varietal reflecting our farm's first year transition to to Biodynamic®.  This wine delivers pure, exotic Grenache varietal expression of dried cherries, ripe strawberries and cardamom with a raspberry mid-palate and a potpourri, allspice finish.  Pair with goat cheese, pine nut and prosciutto flat bread, grilled rib eye steak with chive butter, whole roasted herb chicken, lamb tagine, grilled tarragon, mustard and garlic pork chops and duck confit with herbs de Provence dressed greens.  Aged for 12 months in 100% French oak, 15% new.  Drink now to 2018+

2008 Petite Sirah, Estate $20/bottle new 2/1/2012
Dark, opaque, & inky purple this wine is classic, easy drinking, 100% Petite Sirah from El Dorado. Aromas of fresh, ripe blackberries and dried cherries with flavors of spiced, plum jam, mocha and just a wisp of oak. The wine is big and full on the mid-palate, nicely structured front to back with tamed tannins and a deep, long finish. Pairs well with dry Jack & mushroom soufflé, aged cheddar and creole spiced vegetarian gratin, wine braised venison, grilled leg of lamb with mint chutney, and grilled hanger steak with shallot, garlic and herb compound butter. Aged in 100% American oak for 12 months. Drink now or this wine will smooth out with more cellar time until 2018+.

2008 Cab Cab Franc, Estate - $24/bottle New release 2/1/12
This 50% Estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Estate grown Cabernet Franc is extremely dark garnet with aromas of black cherry, spice and toasty oak.  Rich, dark, plum flavors roll across the palate followed by deep flavors of blackberries, cassis and violets.  Although the wine is in it's youth it shows loads of promise - already exhibiting balance, good structure, rich flavors and a smooth, long, velvety finish.  Pairs with grilled venison or filet mignon steaks, pastas with meat sauce, Osso buco, duck confit, pate, and goat cheese with kalamata olive bread. Aged 11 months in 100% French oak, 25% new.  Drink now - 2018+

2008 Estate Primitivo - $24/bottle New release 2/1/12
A wonderfully deep, garnet color this 100% estate grown Primitivo expresses varying aromas of spice, smoke and vanilla. There is a solid concentrated core of plum fruit followed by flavors of ripe black cherries. The finish is bright and smooth showing fine balance and great depth of flavor. This wine should age quite nicely over the next 8+ years. Serve with rack of lamb, smoked mozzarella on grilled bread, rich red sauces, grilled gourmet sausages, game and barbeque. Aged in 100% American oak, 30% new for 12 months. Drink now to 2019+.

2007 Cab Syrah, Estate - $28/bottle  SOLD OUT
Seriously dark garnet in color with opulent aromas of dark cherries and a well integrated overlay of French oak. Black cherry and ripe raspberry flavors explode into a deep, rich concentrated lingering finish. Made from 100% Narrow Gate Vineyards’ Estate Grown fruit in a very opulent year: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Syrah. This wine traditionally ages beautifully like liquid velvet as it matures, and will reward those who age it at least 3 years or more. Drink now to 2017.

2008 Estate Syrah Viognier - $26/bottle  sold out
Made is a classic Northern Rhone, Cote Rotie style, our Estate Syrah is co-fermented with 10% Estate grown Viognier.  The aroma alone is enough to make you want to dive in and find out more about this unique, yet classic blend!  Aromas of soft cinnamon, lavender, blackberries, and apricots precede flavors of blackberries, ripe plum, savory spice and well integrated French Oak.  It has good "grip" on the finish that signals there are many glorious years ahead for this wine.  Pair w/pan roasted duck breast, grilled lamb chops, lavender and honey glazed port tenderloin and olive & mushroom tart.  Drink now to 2018+

Elegant and refined aromas of clove, smoke, toasty oak & leather that carry over to the palate with an overlay of raspberries and plum fruit. Big structure front to back with firm tannins and good length. It finishes with a dollop of strawberry and licorice. This is our flagship wine made from 100% Estate grown grapes in a classic Chateauneuf du Pape style blend - 58% Grenache, 33% Syrah & 9% mourvedre. Drink now to 2017

2007 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - $34/bottle  sold out!
Dark garnet color with opulent aromas of vanilla, nutmeg, and dark chocolate.
This is a big, full bodied wine with flavors of cassis liqueur, black cherries, and
lingering spice on the finish. Pair with braised short ribs in wine, mushroom ragout on polenta, aged cheddar cheese and charcuterie plate, and gilled steak with peppercorn sauce.  Aged 18 months in 100% American oak and 2 years in bottle before release.  Drink now to 2020+.

This is Frank's "special blend" of Port (made from six classic port varietals) infused with 1.25% bittersweet, natural chocolate essence - what a combination! Yum! Ooh la la!
