100% Pinot Noir from a tiny 6 acre vineyard in Edna Valley known for outstanding Pinot Noir. Inspired by our daughter Gina’s Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Wine and Viticulture studies this wine came to life after hundreds of you responded to the wine marketing class survey and you said, “YES” to Pinot Noir, “…if made by Frank!” A daddy/daughter project from the start Gina oversaw the harvest and she and Frank collaborated on the winemaking style. You will not be disappointed with their first! Aromas of cherry and a hint of oak precede layers of raspberry, rhubarb pie, pomegranate and spice on the palate. Full bodied with a round, complex middle it opens up to a long, smooth, cranberry finish. Aged 12 months in 100% French oak, 20% new, 118 cases made. Drink now to 2024+.
